Tensioptim contains 167 mg of Olive leaf extract and 53 mg of Olive fruit extract in each capsule. The Olive fruit extract (Olea europaea) has a high concentration of Hydroxytyrosol, one of the most potent natural antioxidants. The Olive leaf extract (Olea europaea) has a high concentration of Oleuropein, known to reduce glucose and increase insulin in healthy individuals. The Olive leaf extract also helps to maintain a normal blood pressure.
In a large clinical trial including 663 participants it has been demonstrated that Tensioptim helps control blood pressure and has a positive effect on HDL, the "good" cholesterol, and triglycerides.
Tensioptim combines the key natural ingredients of the Mediterranean diet. One capsule of Tensioptim is equivalent to approximately 2 litres of extra virgin olive oil.
Intake recommendation:
Adults: 2 capsules per day, the first immediately after waking up in the morning and the second in the evening, with a large glass of water.
